Marketers Most Wanted: October 2025
October has brought another reshuffle to the StudioSpace leaderboard. Social Media has regained the top spot, overtaking Video Production, which slips to second after leading in September. Meanwhile, UX & UI Design has surged back into the top three with one of its strongest showings this year.
Further down the table, we’ve seen the re-emergence of campaign-focused categories like Marketing Campaign Execution and new entries for SEO, Creative Campaign, and Brand Design — highlighting how brands are preparing for the year-end push and 2026 planning.
This month’s data underlines how marketers’ priorities are shifting rapidly, balancing long-term brand and technology investments with short-term campaign delivery.

1. Social Media (12.6%)
Social Media has rocketed back to the number 1 slot post Summer, up from 11.1% in Septmeber. The StudioSpace platform is supporting a wide variety of Social Media activity across for lead-gen and influencer campaigns across multiple clients. Strong demand in both the UK and Australia.
2. Video Production (11.5%)
Always a strong category – albeit a slight dip to September’s 12.2% - video production maintains a healthy showing with content ranging from big visions to explainer videos for new services and propositions to new campaigns.
3. UX & UI Design (10.5%)
A major jump from September’s 6.3% - UX/UI and web development in general is alive and kicking as ever, as service providers continue to upgrade their service offerings to keep pace with he market and launch new products and services. Enhanced navigation, search and interfaces are common themes.
4. Marketing Campaign Execution (6.8%)
Continuing from September’s MMW report, Campaign Execution moves into the table as brands drive towards the EOY commercial season with Q4 campaign launches. It also reflects how increasingly comfortable clients are with using the StudioSpace platform to support and deliver their brand campaigns.
5. Research & Insight (6.3%)
Increasingly a stalwart category, Research & Insight is up from 5.3% in September. Brands are exploring new technologies and AI, new propositions and UX/UI enhancements, both in the UK and Australian markets.
6. CRM (5.8%)
CRM has really been flying its colours this year and holds steady 5.8%. Brands continue to invest in upgrading CRM systems and campaigns. There is a war for customer attention and lowering CAC and CRM is at the heart of it.
7. SEO (5.8%)
A flurry of SEO campaigns sees a new entry into the table, We’ll keep a watch and see if the trend continues into next month.
8. Software Development (5.8%)
A sharp drop from 10.6% in September, but that said Software Development is periodic. Expect to see a rise as the new investments in Proposition and UX/UI pull through in Q4 and Q1 2026.
9. Creative Campaign (4.7%)
Another new entry, reflecting the push into Q4 campaign season and StudioSpace’s growing role in this activity.
10. Brand Design (4.2%)
A number of Brand Design projects hit the StudioSpace platform, for parent brands and new product launches alike.
Looking Ahead
The October data points to a market balancing campaign delivery with longer-term investments. Social Media and UX & UI Design are both showing strong growth, while Video Production remains a dominant force despite slipping to second.
Meanwhile, the reappearance of Marketing Campaign Execution, alongside new entries like SEO, Creative Campaign, and Brand Design, reflects a sharper focus on short-term results and positioning for 2026.
As we head into November and December, we expect campaign categories to remain strong, and Research & Insight and UX/UI to gain further traction as brands prepare for next year.
